Shri Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha’s Smt. P. B. Bagal Arts, Commerce and Science College, Dondaicha was established in June 1970 by strenuous efforts of Hon’ble Nanasaheb Dr. Hemantrao B. Deshmukh with mission to impart quality higher education to students of downtrodden society. The college also upholds the vision of MLA Shri Kunal Rohidas Patil, the President of SSVPS, Dhule to instill the right values in students so as to develop a holistic personality for taking challenges and defying the normal norms for better future. Since the inception, the college was affiliated to Poona University and later with the establishment of North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon from 15th August 1990. The College was accredited by NAAC on 5 th April 2022 with “B+”grade with CGPA of 2.11 on four point scale. One of significant recommendations of NPT was that the college should have extension of Science faculty. On 1 st of July 2023, newly appointed Principal, Prof.Dr.Prakash S.Lohar, who is having experience of 34 years of teaching, learning, evaluation, publications and research in Life Sciences, utilized his experience and expertise hands in making Science proposal. As a result of his initiatives, KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon granted permission for Science faculty to be started from June 2024. It will be a great opportunity for students in and around Dondaicha to avail the facility of Science Education.
